Public Comments: All persons wishing to speak are requested to fill out a comment card so they may be recognized at the appropriate time. General comments regarding non- agenda items will be called for at this time. Specific comments regarding agenda items will be called for during discussion of each item. Please be prepared to limit your remarks to three (3) minutes.

V. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS – Action Items

 A.  HVAC – Mini Split for HARC’s space
The Committee previously authorized staff to notify tenant that RAP would cover ½ the cost of purchase and installation of the unit.  HARC has notified staff that they are unable to incur any cost even if the amount is divided over a 12 month period due to limited budget.  The temperature in the room will be too high during the afternoons during the summer without a split unit.  Would the Committee be open to changing the amount that RAP would pay?

 B. Review rates for use of conference rooms
Staff has prepared fees to be imposed for use of the conference rooms for non-tenants. There may be additional costs incurred to ensure health and safety standards that may need  to be considered if the user or landlord should incur these costs. (attach. #3)

C. RAP Building COVID-19 Guidelines
1. Staff has prepared Guidelines for “Opening up” the RAP building (attach. #4).  Staff is seeking input from the Committee and recommend forwarding it to the Executive    Committee for a recommendation to the Board at the June meeting.
2. Costs to address health and safety issues in the building.  Staff will provide amount of available current year budget.  Purchase of:

    • Two Touchless Thermometers

    • Two Sanitizer Upright Stations (one in reception area and one in conference room)

    • Sanitizer/wipes – groups using the meeting rooms will be required to provide their own, but we will have back-up to use if necessary.

    • Disposable masks – should anyone show up without one, they will not be turned away if they are willing to wear it.

    • Install plexi-glass extensions in between cubicles

 VII.  ADJOURNMENT: Next meeting will be Wednesday June 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM  and monthly thereafter, at 41550 Eclectic Rd, Palm Desert, CA 92260, unless changed by Committee.
