Job Title: Center for Nonprofit Advancement (CNA) Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Depends on Qualifications and Experience

The CNA Director is responsible for the administration and development of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement (CNA) program. The person will report directly to the Regional Access Project Foundation CEO.

Essential Functions

The CNA Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervising and guiding CNA staff.
• Responsible for reviewing, researching, preparing and analyzing nonprofit sector reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
• Develop and maintain a Consultant Directory for professional services; negotiate fees and services.
• Provide staff support to the CNA Advisory Committee.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks.
• Aids RAP CEO and Accountant on the development and implementation of the annual CNA budget.
• Strategically develop, implement, manage and evaluate educational programs with the goal of providing educational/professional credits for participants, for example Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

• Oversee all aspects of CNA conferences, training workshops, webinars and other training opportunities.

• Develop, support and manage the collaborative relationships and partnerships that are central to CNA’s services, including a consultant network and relationships within the larger nonprofit consulting community.

• Develop and implement evaluation methods/tools for consulting services.

• Contribute to quarterly newsletters and generate e-blast communications as needed.

• Identify, research and evaluate the alignment of potential funders with CNA/RAP mission and objectives.
• Complete Letters of Intent, Grant Applications for CNA.

• Prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.

• Meet with prospective funders and explore funding opportunities.

• Oversee and expand the membership model.

Educational / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Require a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a nonprofit manager or executive
• Certification in Computers and Systems
• Certification in Supervision, Leadership and Team Excellence

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the following general knowledge
• Knowledgeable in computer applications including Microsoft Office, Excel, Social Media, etc.
• Ability to articulate nonprofit issues.
