We Provide Grants to Area Nonprofits

The RAP Foundation provides cash grants to tax exempt organizations and agencies that provide services benefiting residents of eastern Riverside County.  As a rule, these grants have a "sunset" clause which requires programs to become self-sustaining after a period of time generally not exceeding three years.  All grants are awarded in one of three categories: Juvenile Interventions, Health, and Mental Health.  In addition, there are three mechanisms for acquisition of these grants: Request for Proposals (RFPs), Desert Fast Pitch competition awards, and Small Grants.  More...

We Promote Volunteerism in the area

Through a partnership with the Riverside County Office on Aging, leveraging their experience and resources for volunteer recruitment and site placement.  The RAP Foundation provides funding to expand the agency's existing volunteer program for seniors (55+) (RSVP) to those from youth to age 55 as Desert Volunteer Connect.
